A car burst into flames following a crash in Ann Arbor Thursday morning.

Ann Arbor police said they were called to a two-car crash at 7:41 a.m. near the intersection of Washtenaw Avenue and Hill Street.

A witness snapped a picture of the crash, which ended up by U-M's "The Rock"

One of the cars burst into flames, police said. The Ann Arbor Fire Department was called to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

Fire officials weren't immediately available for comment. Police said they didn't think there were any major injuries.

Washtenaw Avenue was closed for a short time, but was reopened later Thursday morning.
